Featured Replies

Hi guys new too this forum . I have an issue with my ford c max 1.6 tdci 2011 showing error code p2425 . IV replaced everything from egr valve the egr cooler , egr solenoid , maf and map sensor , new fuel and air filter but still getting the code with limp mode triggering when underload . Anyone know what the issue could be or has anyone had this same issue . I thank you for any replys .

That code is most likely for a wiring fault. You need an auto-electrician to check the wiring.

Thank you for your reply IV checked electric connections with a multimeter and all seems fine . I have not yet checked the maf electrical connection and solenoid connection. I have unplugged the maf sensor before and the car ran fine with a light could this be all connected to the egr system ? Thank you again for your reply

Unplugging the MAF just forces the PCM to use default failsafe maps, that only masks other faults, it doesn't diagnose anything.

All I can say is the PCM thinks there's a wiring fault for that code to be triggered. If you've replaced every mechanical part of the system then wiring still seems the most likely. If you're really unlucky it'll be a fault within the PCM.
