Hello world.

This is all a bit new to me. I've bought a 1988 Mk4 1.6L that's rust free and nice to drive (apart from the sloppy gear lever).

My last car was a Reliant Kitten with a Suzuki Swift 993cc triple - a lot more basic than the Escort but I loved it: 540kg with 60bhp going through the rear wheels was fun.

I've joined here because I have questions and will start a "My car" thread to see if anyone can help. Mainly trim at the moment.
