Battery and sensors

Featured Replies

Hi A question if anyone can give me advice.Im planning to put a new battery in my 2016 Fiesta 1.25 and was wondering if the sensors would reset automatically or if i would have to do it myself and how to go about it?

Just fit the new battery, all will be good

Does the 1.25 have stop start? You'll have to reset the BMS if it does.

That's an interesting question. Our 2012 Mk 7 certainly didn't, I think the facelift Mk 7.5 originally got it as an option on the 1.0 ecoboost, but dont know when it became standard.

Im not sure but it starts normally and doesnt turn off when i stop tho it may be able to be put into that mode.

If you have it, there'll be a switch to disable it if required:
