Having just replaced the front brake pads and discs at 41k miles and spent ages struggling to get the caliper securing bolts back in I wondered if anybody could give an opinion on likely rear brake wear? Do the rear shoes wear down at the same rate as the front pads or are they likely to still have life left in them? Just had a gut full of rolling around under the car at the mo 😔

    I've never had to replace drum shoes due to wear. Only due to a fault. Personally wouldn't even risk damage attempting to remove the drum without an obvious fault.
