Charge socket

Featured Replies

Morning all , I have a 2018 1.0 eco boost fiesta

The usb charge sockets are working , but the cigarette lighter type one isn’t , I’ve disconnected the socket and have no live there.

I’ve located the fuse box in the passenger footwell and gone through every fuse with a test light and they are all fine .

Has anyone had this issue before is there a common place the wiring breaks or is it best to run a new wire and feed .

Thanks

Try it with the ignition on if you haven't done so already.

Hi there , I’ve tried it with the ignition on and also with the car running, I’ve also disconnected the socket and tried but no joy .

I’m not sure of the fuse number as I have no book with the car but I have tested every fuse with a test light and are all good

Lighter socket fuse is under the bonnet. F83 20A.
