1.6 zetec S won’t crank

Featured Replies

Hi we’ve got a 08 1.6 petrol zetec z which has stopped cranking.

We’ve been through the fuzes, batteries etc and no change.

The scanner says no communication with ecu. The immobiliser light in the dash flash’s rapidly.

After some advice we sent the clock cluster off to ecu testing. They found not fault but we had it resoldered anyway.

But, still not cranking.

ECU? Wiring?

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Thanks in advance

Paul

After the rapid flashing it should flash a 2 digit code that repeats.
ie, 1 flash pause then up to six flashes
Flash codes
