Bit of context for you all. I recently done an engine swap the donor engine was out of a 1.6 auto out of a fusion. Done all I need to it flywheel clutch ect ect. All was going well. However, went to start it the engine will crank but no start. Battery voltage was low so used a booster still nothing plugged it in to the read codes it has a P0336-FO for the crank sensor and U0155-60, P0460-60.

I swapped the crank sensor for a new one as I used my old one so though it was possibly damaged. Still nothing. Thinking it was still the low voltage causing the issue I hooked it up to my Mrs car. Still cranks but no start the battery was reading a good amount of volts but still no start.

I’ve cleaned all ground wires, I’ve checked over the wiring to the crank sensor and they all look good to me.

If anyone can help please throw any suggestions my way

From what I remember the mounting position of the crankshaft position sensor or the pickup ring is different between the manual and automatic transmission versions.

When installing an automatic transmission engine into a manual transmission vehicle you have to transfer all crankshaft position related parts from the manual transmission engine to the new one, otherwise the engine will not start.
