Hi All

My 1.6 Diesel uses coolant (approx 1/2 ltr a week on short runs) and very small amount on a long run. I cannot see any obvious leaks from above and theres no water in oil. Any ideas please?

    Hi,

    If you can't see any leaks then the next check is a CO2 sniff test to see whether it's headgasket or EGR cooler.

    Also worth checking front carpets to see whether the heater matrix is leaking.
