Trying to track down my old mk3 escort, I owned the car until 2012/2013 in Chester area. Originally a 1300L in coral beige but I decided to put a 2.0 zetec in it and was helped by Chester sportscars to do a bike carb set up. I kept tabs on the car for a while after I sold it in the hope I’d be able to buy it back one day. I know it ended up in Ellesmere Port and was owned by a chap who had a few Old Ford’s inc an cortina and was up for sale on eBay. After that I believe it went up to Blackpool area. Friend of mine said he’d spotted it up in Yorkshire last year. Any help to track it down would be greatly appreciated.

That's the opposite side to me, chances are if it's ended up this way it will possibly visit the ford meets at squires cafe in Leeds it's usually a big 1 that a lot of fords go to. I've not had the chance to go but I've heard a lot about it. A possibility of locating it if they have a site would be Lincolnshire ford owners club they know many from all over the place 😎🤞

It's still taxed until June 27 and MoT'd until this September, so still alive and kicking it seems. I was at a local classic show on Sunday - it wasn't there - but I'll keep an eye out.

Came across this recently - looks as if you have to pay up front, though. Anyone tried it?
