2015 1.5 tdci heater matrix repair

Hi all,

I recently had my heater matrix replaced due to the previous one leaking. It’s a 2015 Fiesta 1.5 tdci

To save removing the dash to replace the heater matrix which would of cost nearly the value of the car, I had the pipe cut on the new heater matrix then joined to the old heater matrix pipe with hose and jubilee clip.

it has been ok for about 3 weeks but maybe due to the hot weather last week it has started to leak.

Has anyone had a similar problem or got any ideas to make a better seal?
