How do i tell if my car is a tdci or a tddi. My log book has tdci but my insurance docs have tddi

Was there sepcific engine numbers like the vag group, my golf was a agu and had a auq, just wondering if ford is the same

The problem im having is all the engine covers etc say tdci, the badge says tdci but i cannot for the life of me find the egr valve, its not at the front of the car and to be honest i just cannot find it and i cant see it behind the turbo

CONFUSED please help
