Ka Clock Illumination

Featured Replies

Hi all

Mother in law has just joined the KA world. The car is on a 52 plate and is in great condition and she loves it!!!

Just one small issue was the clock that kept losing time. No probs I thought, Ebay = job done BUT the clock I removed was the 'short' version and the 'new' ebay version was the long version with the removable bulb. Same 6 pin connector though. Got the old clock out and fited the new one but although the clock keeps time the illumination doesn't work :(

All ads imply all clocks will work but not in this case. I have changed the bulb, no difference. The old clock did have the illumination working.

Are the clocks not compatible as a swap? Seems strange as Ford don't often make things go like this.

Any help appreciated :)
