Identification Of Parts

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I really hope some of you clever people on here can help me identify what the leaking pipe from my pictures is called? I have already ordered the wrong the part once and don't want to do it again. The pipe is question seems to hold power steering fluid and goes into larger pipe with a metal coil round it. I unfortunately ordered the other pipe next to it nearest the front

I would be really grateful if someone could let me know what it is called?

Please see pictures attached

Thanks

Anthony

take pics with you to fords & they will be able to get the part from them

& they will show you the part on their pc .

it looks like a seal has gone as those metal pipes dont go unless you hit them

when driving

i would clean all pipework where you think the leak is cumming from then turn

engine over & drive the car round to block & have a look to see where the leak is

(with care it's gonna be hot) i bet it's a seal.

i had similar

the one that failed me was nr the lower edge (off side) of the bumper

all i done was tighten the joint & it was ok so you maybe able

to do that otherwise it's most prob a duff seal or rubber hose that

goes into the metal ones.

try checking all joints are tight but before you run the engine !!!

Hi Dellboy,

appreciate your time in replying to this post, I genuinely don't believe its a seal as I think there is a crack in the downpipe section of pipe before the bend. Do you know what that bit called? I will take it to ford at the weekend but I'm scared of the cost!

Thanks

Anthony
