hello! is it possible to fit this head unit which i think is canbus into a noncanbus mondeo o2 model

got some leads to convert the quadlock to iso fitting. theres power going to the the right wires it just flashes on quickly lights up for a second then goes off it does this every time i press the on button

am i right in saying that it needs some sort of canbus signal to make it work thanks geoff
