Streetka Rear Screen

Hi :D I was just browsing at stuff on ebay and came across this...I know a couple of people have asked about it before so thought i'd post it.

FORD STREETKA REAR WINDOW SCREEN REPLACEMENT

I went to Trimmtech for to have the window replaced my Porsche Boxster S. Very, very good indeed.

Based near Crewe and the chap who runs the business is ex Rolls Royce. Youngish bloke but extremely good at what he does.

12 months on and my rear screen looks great. I also saw some of the leather work he does and was equally impressed.

There is a station within a 5 minute walk, so you can pop into Manchester whlst he does your car.

www.trimmtech.co.uk is the web site.

To keep the rear screen in good condition here are my tips. Don't operate the hood in cold conditions below 8c. If you lower the hood between say 8c and 12c make sure you don't do it straight away - let the cabin heat up first. Above 12c, should be fine.

Keep the screen clean with micro fibre cloths. Anything else may scratch it.

When dropping the hood on the boxster, I put a towel across the screen as it concertinas on itself. This, firstly stops the rear screen contacting with itself, thus scratching and secondly stopshe 'pleats' created by folding from being too tight.

Hope it helps!
