Advice Needed On Fitting A Different Stereo.

Featured Replies

Hiya, I own a 55 reg Ford Fiesta. It has the standard Ford stereo in but I'm wanting to change it do this:

I've never changed a stereo before and was wondering what cables I would need, also would I need to change my cage/ fascia etc?

Thanks, Adam.

to remove the standard radio you will need 4 release keys (look on ebay)

I imagine the new radio will come with all the cables and the cage etc to fit. you might need to buy the steering wheel control cable if you have this though. never done a double DIN before so i cant really help much

welcome to the forum though :)

I emailed two online stores and one said I would need to purchase the cage and one said I wouldnt, i'm not sure what to do now :P

I will need a cable and an aerial converter, I don't have steering controls.
