Mk6 Escort Gti Engine Change!

Featured Replies

hi people, does anyone know if a mk5 rs2000 engine will slot straight in my gti body? pretty sure it will as the mk5 and mk6 are pretty much the same body. thanks for looking

It will fit but you will have lots of fun trying to get it to run.

You need the original ECU, ignition and wiring loom for the engine and a bit of electrical know how to splice it all into your exsisting loom.

The exhaust manifold is different to. So many people have tried this and given up as its not as straight forward to do as people think
