Stereo Problem

Hi,

My stereo, or more specifically my speakers stopped working following a recent jump start from The AA.

When i turn the volume up to the max, you can hear a slight muffled sound.

The two things suggested to me have been a blown amp and a blown fuse. I've tried changing fuses with no luck.

How do i go about testing/changing an amp. Does the whole stereo unit need to be replaced?

Any help would be much appreciated.
