hi ive been given a ka by a friend who just wanted rid of it as she has lost the keys i work for a recovery company so have managed to unlock it but i need to know, can i buy a second hand ecu with a matched key and just swap them straight over, rather than paying out nearly £200 for a new key to be made and coded..... Can anyone help >>>>>>>>>>>!!!!!!!!!!!!

    If you change the ECU i think you will have to change the ignition as well as the standard immobiliser is built in to it.
