Hi ,

May I ask for a little help please ?.

I fear my thermostat has stuck open and would like to know if I have to buy the whole housing or if I could get just the thermostat itself ?.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

    the third one is a new one (tbh I would fit new not a used one as theres a lot of messing in fitting it and you dont want the messing twice), half the price of the one from europarts

    Hi my car is a 2.0 petrol .Will the TDCI thermostat fit ? I was hoping to buy just the actual thermostat not the whole housing . I recently had the same problem with my Vectra and was sold the wrong housing so I dismantled it and fitted the new stat into my old housing so was hoping to do the same on the Ford.

    Is it a big job and do I need any special tools and lastly us there anything I need to know to help ne change it ?

    One more thing if I may ? Is it possible to fit the mechanical thermostat from Cosworth for the duratec because its only 40 from Burton . Thank you.
