Mondeo Harsh Violent Popping

Featured Replies

helping out a mate here, he has a t reg mondeo st24 v6. just done an engine swap, like for like so exactly the same engine. he bought an engine that was incomplete and used the rest of the parts from his own engine to make one complete engine.

i went to look at it today cuz he was saying it doesnt sound right

it sounds like it is misfiring but sounds like the popping of popcorn in a microwave. really loud and violent. it doesnt hold its revs either.

any help will be appreciated

thanks
