I have purchased a mondeo and I can't work out if the central locking is broken or not. I press the unlock button on the key fob and sometimes only the drivers door will unlock and the rest locked, other times all the doors will unlock.

Is it broken or does it have a double click open function like on the vectra?

It may have been programmed to only open the drivers door on one press and all on two. You can un-programme it yourself. The instructions are in the hand book. I cant remember how of the top of my head,

if you press and hold the lock and unlock buttons simultaneously for 4 seconds with the ignition off it will re-program the un-locking function.
