My Beloved Mondeo :( (Cat. D)

Featured Replies

Hi again guys:

Recently my mondeo was hit on the side by a truck. It can still be driven and everything is fine. I got the other person's details and of course claimed his insurance. They had an inspector came in today to have a looked and he said for my mondeo, they will give me 1404 pounds for it and that the car will be put into cat d :(. Right now my worry is can I still drive my car even though it still have very long MOT and long Road Tax.

Is it ok if I still drive my mondy on the road? Please help guys.

Thanks in advance guys. Please solve my worry

Gobster

No, check with your insurance, technically they have declared it unsafe for the road untill the repairs are done, ie uninsured it, as said check with your insurance.
