Featured Replies

hiya chaps it seems my aircon isnt working ? when i turn it on the little light near the button lights but nothing else no change in revs or noise nothing can any1 help ? maybe its a fuse relay ifso witch 1 is for aircon thx in advance any help appreciated :D

Most likely it has lost its gas. If there is not enough pressure in the system, it will not operate.

How old is the car? You may get away with a top up, or you may have a leak in the system.

No. If there is not enough pressure in the system, it will not activate it.

My Mk 3 Mondeo had a leak due to a pipe to the compressor rubbing on part of the chassis, until it developed a hole.

When was the last time you used the aircon, as it is supposed to be used regularly (even in winter) to stop the seals drying out and cracking?
