hello!

New to the forum!

My girlfriend has a 1996 Ford Ka2, it has 33K miles on the clock! the engine seems to have develpoed to be noisy and the fuel consumption is bad (75miles from £10 of fuel in a 1.3 petrol car.)

I am quite technical along with my dad and his mechanic mates! has anyone here had the same issues or know what could be causing it?

    on the noisey engine ,

    is it the tappets pinking ?

    if it is then do a oil change & then add a bottle of tappet additive with it m8

    it stops the pinking noise.

    on the fuel consumption part i think it's not so bad is it ??

    give her a good service & change the plugs oil & all filters
