Air Con Fans

Hi Guys this might sound a daft question but how many cooling fans are there on the MK3 Mondeo with manual aircon. Reason im asking is on my prefacelift 2.0 Zetec I can only seem to find the main radiator fan. Also is this fan meant to be on constantly when you switch the air con.

Only reason im asking the above is because I used to have a 2.0 Vectra cdx which had 2 cooling fans ie the main rad fan and a smaller fan in front of the air con rad. So when the air con was switched on both fans where constantly on.
