Power Loss

Hi guys

I have a TDCI 130

I have experienced on 3 occasions now a sudden loss of power as if the engine has gone into limp mode and have no turbo very embarasing when going uphill.

However if i stop and turn off ignition for a few seconds and restart the car everything returns to normal

also noticed the temperature guage stops working when power is lossed

anyone have any idea whats wrong
