Ford 6000 Rds Not Auto Selecting Radio Stations

Featured Replies

just replaced the highly reliable(not) 6006 multi play radio in my mondeo with a single player 6000 model, tried auto scanning radio stations but it doesn't find any. managed to manually find a couple but going to be a pain if i drive to a different area.

had 2 of the 6006 models and radio functions worked fine.

Did you change from a single antenna 6006 to a dual antenna (diversity) 6000? There'd be an icon on the bezel, and one (now) open connector on the back.

now you mention it i think there might be a spare open connector next to the aerial socket. finally managed to auto scan some stations when i drove to a different location so perhaps i live in a poor reception area even though its flat and open
