Thinking Of Buying A 2003 Mondeo Advice Please

Featured Replies

hi, i am buying a 2003 mondeo 1.8 petrol it only has 32500 genuine miles and is up at 3000 pounds, in immaculate condition. i am getting good px for my mg. do you reccommend i buy this car. ive had nothing but expense with my mg zt and want something thats not going to keep going wrong. please advise me

The 1.8 and 2.0 are a good engine with no cambelt to worry about. Just check the tyres for wear and that the wear is even. If its out, it could just need tracking but the suspension could be suspect.

Make sure the aircon is working as it can cost a bit to sort out.

Check for leaks (oil and water). The usual stuff really.

Brakes disks and pads are cheap so not too much to worry there.

Sounds like it could be a good buy with such low mileage.
