my new car of 9 hours old!!! is developing tons of unforseen problems sadly

Trip meter? how do i find the buttons to do this? sadly no handibook to refer to my question so hoping someone will kindly look up in their own and let me know?

I have bought a 08 mondeo my self. and trip computer is in the right hand side on the steering. i think you have to press up/down where it says ok.

hi i have the mondeo tdci 2004 53plate there is an info button on the indicator stalk just press that and the left display on the clocks will change, some models tho was not fitted with that button as my mum has the same car but does not have the info button installed hope that helped you

I had the same problem when I got my 05 mondy with no hand book.

There is an info button on the left stalk as said above. Pressing this will select MPG, average speed, temperature etc. The MPG is an AVERAGE mpg and not 'live' as some cars are. As its a new car you should reset it by displaying the mpg on the dash and then pressing the small dial on the dash just below it until it returns to zero. This will now work out YOUR average mpg as If you don't reset it it will work out the average mpg based on the last owners driving as well as your own.

Have you sussed out the cruise control ok?
