I'm trying to figure out how to adjust the gear selector cable on my 99 focus zetec.

I cant select 2nd 4th or reverse can some one point me in the right direction please...i need to go shopping today urgently.

However sometimes it will go into second but not 1st then.

Could it be something simple or is a new box jobbie.
