Dab Radio Woes

Featured Replies

Has anyone had any issues with reception with their DAB radio?

I've got a 2009 Titanium X Sport. Sony 6CD DAB system with MP3 player – doesn't appear to have a model number as such.

I know DAB isn't perfect. I'm aware it looses signal periodically, but it's happening so much now it's becoming almost unusable.

I now can't do a 10 minute journey anywhere without it losing signal for minutes at a time.

I had a 2005 Vauxhall Vectra with a DAB radio which worked much better than this.

My local dealership (where I bought it from) has 'tested' it but tell me it's fine. But the unit works usually when the vehicle is stationary. It's as soon as I drive anywhere it affects it.

Any ideas? Anyone else experienced this?

Any advice?
