Hi guys,

i'm looking a bit of help and hope i've come to the right place

i've recently purchased an 03 fiesta zetec and have noticed while

driving there is an annoying rattle coming from the dashboard area

inside the car, can anybody shed any light on what the problem may be

or point me in the general direction???

Also when i start the engine with the radio on there's a crackle comes across the speakers

any ideas or should i just start the engine with radio turned off?

My windscreen rattles in my 99 focus but I think thats just due to coilovers for 6 months lol

What I'd suggest is checking over all the dashboard trim (including steering column shrouds) and check to see if there's anything which is noticeably loose and you may find it's a simple case of tightening a scew for example.

That's the method I've always used when someone has described a rattle, but sometimes these sorts of things are really annoying and you never find out what's actually causing it.
