External Tempature Problem

Featured Replies

hi i have a 2003 mondeo 2.0l tdci zetec-s. i have just bought the car recently. on my dash a red light comes on and its the external tempature its saying its frosty outside which quite clearly it isnt anyone know whats caused this and also how to fix this. the car has also bn in a little prang damage to the front bumper lower passenger side is this problem linked to the bumper damage can anyone help. thanks

the external temp sensor is fitted behind the front bumper, it sounds like it could be a damaged sensor, wiring or not there after the repair, you will have to remove the front bumper to access the sensor.
