Mondeo Mis-Fire

Hi, just recently my mondeo has started mis-firing. At around 1500 revs in pretty much any gear, especially the low gears. I've had the spark plugs replaced but hasn't made any difference. What could be causing it? What should I be asking a garage too, so I don't get ripped off? Is it worth trying injector cleaning fluid? Any help much appreciated.

one of the common cause of a miss-fire is a faulty coil pack, see if your local garage has got testing tools to check the packs out.

on an 07 reg car then I dont think it would be the injectors, feel free to add some to your fuel by all means it can only be good for the fuel system anyway, but as said I'd go down the ht lead route (a mis-fire is most commonly electrical

Coil pack fixed the problem, its like having a new car. Going to fill up and use some fuel injector cleaner.

Thanks for your input guys.
