Best Way To Take Off Fuel Filler Flap ?

ive just recently brought a ford escort XR3i 1993 and it has an awful sticker on the fuel filler flap and its also broken.

how can i remove the broken one and replace it with a new one ?

    I think you have to take off the rear shelf support inside and undo the screws from inside.
