Rear Wheel Noise

Featured Replies

Hi All!

I'm new to Fords, i've traditionally had VAG Group Cars, however have come over for a Ford KA for the Cute Bubblyness for the better half!

I've just got a 2001, Ford KA, and there seems to be a problem with the rear wheel

There is a noise coming from the rear of the car, the noise gets "faster" With speed, so is speed related, and seems to only happen with going round corners. Absolutley silent in a straight line.

I can only describe the noise as a "Light Scraping" sound.

Because I start jacking the car up and fiddling with the rear of the car, are there any areas aroun this that are prone to failure?

Many Thanks

Iain

Ford KA - 1.3 2001 Model.

sounds like a wheel bearing on its way out allowing movement, jack up the car and check for any play in the wheels.
