3 Button Key Fob Programing

Hi I've just bought a 99 zetec with 3 button key fob but it wont lock or unlock. What do I do to programe. I've seen on here to turn the key in the ignition from 0 to 2 4times then what? Thanks

then the car will beep to let you know its been done properly.

once you hear the dashboard beep

press lock on all fobs you want to programme one by one,

including the key in the ignition.

turn off the ignition and remove key.

http://www.mirez.co.uk/KeyProg.htm i went here and got the instructions for programming the buttons to ulock the car and to program the key to the immobiliser, i used the master key to put the car into programming mode, then used the key i got with the car (which the buttons didnt work on)turned it to mark || then out and put in the new key to mark|| then left for ten seconds and removed. it took me a few goes but i got it in the end and saved money doing it myself
