Ka Problems

Featured Replies

Hi, my wife had an 04 Ka 1.3, a few months ago she started noticing the battery light was coming on intermittently as she was driving. Thought it might be the battery so replaced it. This problem still continued for a bit and then she started to notice that as well as the light being on the blowers were giving out red hot air even when the heater wasn't on, the day she noticed that she then noticed the car struggling to start.

We took it to the local Ford dealer who did a diagnostic and reported that it was the alternator was knackered, so we had it replaced and the problem was solved, for a few weeks!

The battery light started coming on intermittently again and then today as she was driving the car just cut out and all warning lights lit up. Now it won't start, the starter motor just clicks when the key is turned.

Any ideas/advice?
