Ipod Or Flash Drive

Featured Replies

MK3 Focus TDCi with iPod controls

Assuming all cost to be equal and that the device was for no other purpose that for music in the car, are there any benifits to having an iPod over a flash drive?

The Ipod content will be organised by ID3 tags, the flash drive will be shown in the structure you set up the folders (ID3 tags will only be shown with the currently playing track).

Thanks tomtom70

If I had all my MP3's properly ID3 tagged on the flash drive, would this give the option of organisation?

That was supposed to be my point - with the flash drive, you need to organise the files (or have a PC based program do it for you), the car won't do it.
