Smoky Mondeo

Featured Replies

hi i have a 2002 mondeo 20 ltr diesel and it is smoky first thing in the morning for about 5 seconds then it clears up and it is fine all day it also runs lumpy but once the smoke clears it is fine i wondered if any one had any ideas thanx

the common cause could be an injector dripping fuel overnight and then getting burnt off on first start up, the signs of this will be white smoke, diesel smell and rough idle from cold start until the excess fuel has gone. what colour is the smoke?
