my focus zetec 1.8 makes a grining noise when turning tight corners, particularly if going down hill.

just got..08 low mileage..any ideas..possibly traction control?

Mine did the same sounded like driving over white motorway lines mine turned out to be a wheel bearing gone but it could also be a bushing

  • 8 months later...

I have a noise when I hit 1500rpm -2500rpm like a humming noise I have to hold it at that rpm then it makes the noise

2012 Ford focus 150 ecoboost with remap and k&n 2012 model

Any ideas please advise as I've taken it into Ford 3times already and they said it could just be the cars characteristics
