[TONY Hi i have noticed on all the new fords that the control for heat is electrical and not cable as it used to be . check this. I haad a an deisel fiesta and i had problems with my heater and i changed the electric controller which is a common fault, but in the end it was the oil cooler blocked which restricted the water to my heater. all i did was bye pass the oil cooler. worth a check before you seek garage help. Its worth a look and its siple to check. Gino]
