6000 Cd Problem

Featured Replies

My son recently bought a KA and the CD player, its a 6000 model, did not have security front, got one off ebay and Cd player now comes on but none of the buttons seem to work to put the code in any ideas, Thanks.

Only the first four buttons will work for entering the code. When you enter it use the radio preset buttons as each slot in the four digits. So say you have a code of '2267', you would enter it as...

Button 1 - press twice

Button 2 - press twice

Button 3 - press six times

Button 4 - press seven times

Hope that helps, if not I would suggest the faceplate is faulty or isn't pushed on enough - it should click and the little button will move to the right to indicate the faceplate is locked into position - but I guess if it wouldn't come on otherwise.

None of the buttons do anything at all.

Then the faceplate must be faulty.
