hi im new to the forum.

I have an escort van p reg with the endura straight diesel engine in it. And the engine has had it!

I have an engine out of a p reg courier van to fit into the escort, the problem is it has a differant pump on it which has wires going to it, i assume its an immobilised pump.

Does anyone know how to overide the pump or is it possible to fit the pump of the escort engine??

Are there any other differances??

    The original pump from the van should fit that engine and then you should have no problems at all.

    Do you know how to time up the injector pump on these properly as im not sure its set right, i have heard you have to use a dti guage to get them bang on.
