Can someone please advise, I have split my rear screen, have phoned fords and they want £240.00 for a screen, I have been quoted £195.00 to supply and fit which I have booked it in for.

There is a zip but I understand it needs to be fitted by a specialist is this correct, has anyone else has the same thing happen.

I'm afraid I can't help you but my daughter has the same problem. She bought the window from the local ford agent and they won't fit it. Have you had any luck getting yours done?

Yes I had mine done by a local soft top dealer in addiscombe he supplied and fitted it for £195.00. Not sure if you live any where near Croydon but this guy is really good. Look in your local telephone directory fot soft top repairers, apparantly it is rather common as they do become brittle, I have been advised when it is cold start the car and run untill is is warn then put the roof down.
