Display Units For Trip Odometer

Featured Replies

Just bought a 2009 (58 plate) C-Max 1.8 Zetec and on the whole very pleased with it.

Do have one question though which the manual hasn't helped with....

I have managed to find the menu setting to go from imperial to metric measurements - needed to do this to get the outside airtemp display to show in centrigrade (and not fahrenheit) , but now the trip odometer is showing km instead of miles...

the manual gives the impression that it should be possible to change the display units for the trip odometer independently of the other systems, but I can't find a way to do it.

What I ideally want is for the outside temperature display to remain metric (centrigrade) but the trip odometer to show miles. Is this possible? (and is it something I can do myself or does it need to go into a garage to be changed?).

thanks

Martin
