Hallo over there!

Sorry for my bad English, but I am German. My wife is driving the Street Ka, I am only the mechanic! But I have a question: The rear lid does sometimes not open by the remote control. You can always open it with the lock inside the car. For me it seems, it has something to do with lid from the roof (maybe a switch?), because when I push the lid, it sometimes works again. Has someone an idea?

Thanks in advance! (UK ist great! Up to now I ve been to England many times (my favorite pub: Georg + Dragon in Fordwich), Wales and last year to Scotland)).

    hi, my wifes streetka does this sometimes. you have to make sure the panel that hides the fabric roof is shut properly, like you say theres a microswitch, if its not shut the boot will not open, as the 2 lids will hit each other. so its a saftey device in a way. open the panel and slam it shut then the boot will open. it affects the alarm also sometimes, if its not all shut properly.
