HI HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY MK5 XR3I (105) RED LIGHT STAYED ON ALL THE TIME, UNIT GOT WARM ONE IN FOOT WELL (THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITHJ CENTRAL LOCKING AS SOME PEOPLE THINK IT CONTROLS ALARM AND IMOBILISER) AND FLATTENED BATTERY AFTER A FEW DAYS AND IT WOULD NOT GO INTO TEST MODE. BOUGHT NEW SECOND HAND UNIT OF EBAY. WORKS OK, BUT NO DEADLOCKING.( ANY HELP WITH THIS)

ANY WAY THIS STOPPED THE BATTERY DRAIN BEEN OK FOR 3 WEEKS.

ALSO HAD A FEW WATER LEAKS FOUND 1 COMING IN THROUGH WIRING LOOM NEXT TO ECU LEEKING IN BY BATTERY LOOM WAS OPENED OUT SO TAPED UP WITH PLENTY OF TAPE .

1 WAS COMING UP IN FLOOR BETWEEN INNER SILL AND FLOOR PAN SO JUST NEEDED SOME SEAM SEALER INSIDE AND UNDER SEAL OUT SIDE

IT ALSO HAS A MTX75 GEARBOX FITTED. AS SOME 105 HAVE IB5 GEARBOX, SEEN SO MANY PEOPLE ASKING WHAT GEARBOX THEY HAVE GOT BEST WAY IS IF ITS LIFT UP REVERSE THEN ITS A MTX OR JUST GO TO
