thanks

You can get parts for retrofit for cheap at your for dealer. I still have them here, it says FINIS (order number) 1426121 on the package. I think this includes cable and socket, if not, the socket itself is 1365708. I haven't done the install on a Fiesta, only on a Focus - there the hole for the socket was already prepared, I don't know how it works on the Fiesta (or even where it was put from the factory).

Hi,

First welcome to the Forum. :)

To answer your question, you need one of these -

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-FORD-AUX-INPUT-MP3-ADAPTOR-CONNECTOR-/330554024540?pt=UK_In_Car_Technology&hash=item4cf68e225c

Also available from a Ford parts desk, part code number F1426121.

It plugs into a space in the connector on the back of the radio like so,- (where the green connector is in the picture below)

The socket clips into a hole beside the lighter socket - here's one available with the socket fascia ready fitted if you don't fancy cutting holes yourself, just unclip the current trim and clip this one in.

Hope this is of help to you.

prefacelift fiesta 02-05 the retrofit will not work on as the wiring is differnt and the radios dont support aux.. the retrofit above fits the fiesta and works 100 percent as long as your radio has a button aux on it and not the cddj button.

Hi these ford connectors for the aux are they any good because I have to wiggle mine to get mine to work? Are they worth replacing or just not use a ford system?
